fraser - yes, before 2018 the passport office gave you whatever was left on your old passport + 10 years.

When we were in the EU it was commonly agreed that now that we aren't we go to rules for non-EU nationals.
The EU aren't being petty, just another example of the little things that our bureaucrats should have advised us on once out...But didnt.

I'm OK as it is (just) under 10 years from date of issuance until entry date, and is valid for over 3 months until expiry (not subject to the 10 year rule but by expiry date)

If only that were true. I've seen many times (too many to mention) where when players step on the pitch their performance levels have been absolute shite.
Tbh, I'm not sure there's a huge difference between Kehrer and Coufal, but I think playing in his home would defo swing it for me.
I guess we'll know in a couple of weeks.

The requirements for the Schengen Area – comprising most EU countries plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and a handful of micro-states – are crisply expressed on the Travel page of the European Union’s Your Europe site: “If you are a non-EU national wishing to visit or travel within the EU, you will need a passport:
valid for at least three months after the date you intend to leave the EU country you are visiting,
which was issued within the previous 10 years.”

'I've heard that the EU are refusing entry to people whose passports are over 10 years old from the issuance date' - Yep there have been several cases now.
In my case it was issued July 2013 and expires April 2024 - So yours does meet the above criteria and then if the count back was 10 years your expiry date would be one month before travel.
I am not sure you ARE ok, I would be searching the internet for some of the articles and contacting your flight provider

Passports - I've heard that the EU are refusing entry to people whose passports are over 10 years old from the issuance date, despite the expiry date being longer than 10 years. In my case it was issued July 2013 and expires April 2024 so I should be ok.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this.

If I were Moyes, I'd 100 per cent pick Coufal over Kehrer. Not because he's that much better than Kehrer, but because playing in Prague is going to push Coufal on to new heights in his home town. He is really going to be up for it! Hopefully Soucek will be up for it too, and we'll get a proper tune out of him.
